You are about to experience the ultimate Nova Scotia beer lover’s tour with a visit to the Alexander Keith’s Brewery. Learn the history of Mr. Keith, the great brew-master and former mayor of Halifax, the brewing process, and everything else you need to know about Nova Scotia’s favourite beer, Keith’s Pale Ale. Next, head upstairs to the Atlantic Beer Institute, a state-of-the-art educational facility primarily used to train food and beverage professionals. Progressive Nova Scotia Dinner

Savour a delicious three-course dinner with local flare at three unique venues. Your outing begins at Murphy’s overlooking the Halifax Waterfront where your appetizer will be a seafood chowder including morsels of fresh scallops, shrimp, haddock, salmon, clams and, of course, lobster in a creamy base (alternative available). Next, you will split up into smaller groups and walk to nearby restaurants for an amazing entrée of a local seafood dish (meat alternative available). Possible venues are local favourites, the Five Fishermen, McKelvies, Salty’s or da Maurizio. Finally, walk to the Cable Wharf and board the Kawartha Spirit for a 1.5 harbour cruise during which you will enjoy your dessert of homemade blueberry grunt made with fresh local berries, topped with whipped cream, and served with coffee and tea. Halifax Highlights + Discovery Centre

Join your kilted local guide for a fun overview of the downtown core before visiting Citadel National Historic Site featuring costumed re-enactors of the famed 78th (Highlanders) Regiment of Foot. Each day (except for Christmas Day), a cannon is fired at noon as a tribute to Halifax’s history as a major British military stronghold. Afterward, you will be met outside the Fortress by a Kilted Tour Guide and Motorcoach which will transfer you to the waterfront to enjoy some free time on the boardwalk for lunch. Your tour continues with a visit to the brand new, state of-the-art, Discovery Centre featuring four floors of interactive, hands-on learning experiences including an Immersive Dome Theatre, Innovation Lab and Featured Exhibit gallery that invites traveling exhibits 3-4 times a year. The new Discovery Centre facilitates its not-for-profit mission to bring STEAM (Science | Technology | Engineering | Arts | Math) to life through fun, interactive learning experiences to capture the imagination and inspire the curious minds of all ages. Halifax: The Titanic Connection

Join your local guide to learn about Halifax’s connection to the disaster of the sinking of RMS Titanic and the romance, mystery and fascination that still abound about one of the most significant marine tragedies of all time. By fate and circumstance, Halifax has connections to the Titanic that no other place in North America has. In fact, because of Canadian retrieval efforts and artifacts on display in Halifax, the city is the second most important Titanic city in the world and yours to discover today on your tour. Hear stories of two Halifax natives who traveled on Titanic, and learn about “Unsinkable Molly Brown’s” post-Titanic visit. Visit the Fairview Lawn Cemetery where 121 victims of the disaster are buried, see many Titanic sites including the recovery locations, the morgues, churches where services were held and much more. Also visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic which houses an excellent permanent exhibit on the disaster, featuring the world’s largest collection of wooden artifacts, including a post from the famous Grand Staircase, and the only intact Titanic deck chair in the world.

The coastline is famous for pirates, shipwrecks, rum-running and one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Annapolis Valley Epicurean Adventure

Your first stop is the Fox Hill Cheese House in Port Williams. A sixth-generation family farm nestled in the lush fields of the valley, Fox Hill uses the finest, freshest quality milk in their own processing facility.
